Privacy Policy
Copmany Holdings Inc. (“Copmany,” “we,” “us,” or, on formal occasions, “the Company”) takes the privacy of its visitors seriously, in keeping with applicable law and Value 02 of our values document. This page explains, in approximately the right amount of detail, how we handle data collected when you visit copmany.com.
1. Who We Are
Copmany is a multinational operating company providing leading solutions to leading companies. For privacy purposes, the data controller is Copmany Holdings Inc., headquartered in the Tri-State Region. For privacy enquiries, please write to [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Enquiry,” which is monitored by a person.
2. What We Collect
We do not require visitors to create accounts, and we do not operate forms that submit personal data to systems we control. The forms which appear elsewhere on this site (Enterprise Inquiry Intake, Newsletter, etc.) are illustrative and do not, at present, transmit data anywhere of consequence. Even so, browsing the site involves automatic data collection of the standard, regrettable kind:
- Server and request data handled by our hosting provider, including IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamps. This is used to deliver pages and detect abuse.
- Analytics data collected through Google Analytics, including pages viewed, approximate location (typically at the city or region level), device type, and similar technical signals.
- Advertising data collected by Google AdSense and its partners to deliver and measure ads (see Section 5).
- Email correspondence if you write to us. We retain it for as long as is necessary to respond and a reasonable period thereafter.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics and advertising. The full breakdown is in our Cookie Policy; the short version is:
- Strictly necessary: minimal cookies for basic site operation.
- Analytics: set by Google Analytics to help us understand which pages are visited.
- Advertising: set by Google and its certified ad partners to serve ads, including, where permitted, personalised ads.
You can clear or block cookies at any time using your browser settings. The site will continue to function. The advertising will, in some cases, become slightly less precisely targeted.
4. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages on copmany.com are visited and how. Google may process the data described above on our behalf, in accordance with its data processing terms. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites that use it by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Advertising and Google AdSense
Copmany uses Google AdSense to display ads. AdSense is provided by Google and its certified third-party ad partners.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- For more on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google’s partner sites policy.
6. Third Parties
The third parties that may receive limited data through normal use of the site include our hosting provider, Google (for Analytics and AdSense), and Google’s certified ad partners. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with parties other than those reasonably needed to operate and fund the site. We have not entered into data-sharing arrangements with any of our affiliates, subsidiaries, or sub-subsidiaries beyond what is necessary for ordinary operations.
7. Legal Basis (GDPR)
If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are:
- Legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, and basic, aggregated analytics.
- Consent, where required, for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising. Where consent is required, you will see a notice the first time you visit and may change your choice at any time using the controls described in our Cookie Policy.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Residents of California have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what is collected, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by California law.
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
9. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Copmany does not, in the ordinary course, sell personal information for monetary consideration. To the extent that the use of advertising cookies on the site is treated as “sharing” for the purposes of California or similar laws, you may opt out using the controls described in Sections 3, 5, and our Cookie Policy.
10. Data Retention
Analytics data is retained for the default retention periods configured in Google Analytics, which we may adjust from time to time. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve a request and a reasonable period afterward, primarily for record-keeping purposes which are themselves recorded.
11. International Transfers
Some service providers, including Google, are based outside your country and may process data in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on safeguards approved by the relevant regulators, including, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.
12. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage. No system is perfectly secure. Where a security incident affects personal data we process, we will notify affected parties in accordance with applicable law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, particularly when we add or remove third-party services, or when a Senior Partner returns from a conference with strong views on cookies. Significant changes will be reflected in the “Last reviewed” date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact
Privacy questions: [email protected]. The governing law for any privacy question that cannot be resolved by correspondence is the law of the jurisdiction in which Copmany Holdings Inc. is incorporated.
